Burguesa Burger’s Charles Ballard Gets Snapped at MenuMasters Awards Celebration

Burguesa Burger chief progress officer Charles Ballard and his wife, Amelita, were in Chicago recently at the 91st annual National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show. Nation’s Restaurant News published a recap of the NRA show in its June 14, 2010 edition, and the Ballards made it into the magazine’s party pics. They attended the celebration honoring this year’s MenuMasters award winners. Also at the shindig—though his photo only made the online edition!—was Burguesa Burger founder Jeff Sinelli.

Charles Ballard Joins Burguesa Burger Team

Burguesa Burger now has a “chief progress officer.” That is the title chosen specifically for Charles Ballard, who will play a big role in continuing development of the brand by overseeing menu development, operational systems, franchise sales, franchisee training and support, purchasing agreements, real estate development, and more. Ballard has 30 years of restaurant experience, which began when he founded and operated his own chain of bakeries in the ’80s. Later in his career, Ballard oversaw operations at Nestle Toll House Cafes, Pokey O’s Cookies & Ice Cream, and Which Wich. We are excited to have Chuck join our dynamic Burguesa Burger team!
